Thoughts of a Junior Assumptionista - a poem by Elissa

“In an all-girl school…”
I once myself said
But now this school
Was just proclaimed co-ed

With 12 years of experience
Of good education
I never once regret
That I chose Assumption

The Family Days, Monthly masses and Play festivals
The Kapatiran, Integration Days and the Intramurals
All these traditions I’ll never forget
Who knows what’ll add, they might better I bet

With all the teachers
And my classmates and friends
Who made school fun
And how I wish it’ll never end

But now as a junior
I’ll have to move on
With my senior year

And finally my graduation
